“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land.”

This promise from Isaiah is reassurance from the Lord that He is a gracious and forgiving God. His heart is to forgive us and cleanse us from our sin. We all need to be reminded of His loving grace and His ever present mercy that extends to us a second, third, fourth and fifth chance. God is so patient with us and believes that we will humble ourselves and go His way regardless of how often we may stumble.

Then there is this wonderful promise that if we are willing and obedient, we will be blessed and enjoy the provision of God in all things. God will always bless obedience to His Word.

I am so grateful for God’s grace upon my life. The closer I get to Him, the more I realize my own sin and the tendency to go my own way. I’m grateful that He gives me second and third chances. His grace is greater than my biggest failures. I am motivated to be willing and obedient so that I don’t miss out on all He has for me.

Lord thank You for coming to die for me and freeing me from sin and its clutches. Help me this day to be willing and obedient to do your will in everything. Fill me with your Spirit that I may live for You wholeheartedly.
