The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

God is more patient than we realize. I think we’ll be surprised when we get to heaven and see how many people are there that we think wouldn’t make it. God’s grace is so great, and though we understand that it is only in Jesus that we can be saved, there will be many who cried out to Him for grace and mercy in their final hour.
His Word endures forever: It is true—every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. It’s just better to do it now while there is still time, than to do it later when it is too late. |

I am reminded of God’s patience from this verse and also challenged to be a man of consistent, persistent, and believing prayer as I pray for my unsaved friends. After years of praying for some, I find myself sometimes wondering if my prayers are making any difference. But from this verse, I must step up my faith and contend with fervency and confidence that God is faithful and able to save as I pray for those who are lost.
A great harvest is coming as I keep praying for God to save many in this community. I am inspired to fast and pray and trust that God is moving in ways that I do not see or yet recognize. |

Thank You, Lord for helping me to see your great grace and patience today. I set my heart to be faithful to pray and share with my unsaved friends about the love of Christ. Lord Jesus, fill me with your Spirit so that I will have supernatural boldness to speak your words to those who need to hear.
