The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

These people were so deceived by their own selfishness and worship of worldly things that they still did not repent even in the face of great plagues and destruction. The judgment of God is inevitable and that is why it is so important to turn from sin and turn to the Lord while there is time.

There are many today who are ignorant of the destructive and demonic nature of magic arts and sexual immorality. There are many who unknowingly worship idols when they place the things of this world above serving God. There’s a day coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Better to do it now than on the Day of Judgment.

I need to be mindful of the coming judgment and day of accounting that we will all face at the end of time. Life is short and God has called me to lead people into a relationship with Jesus. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. I must be faithful and bold to share what Jesus did for all of mankind when He died on the cross.

My heart is to accurately represent the love of Jesus to a world that needs to know Him. He’s called me to a life of prayer, a life of pastoring His people, and to a life of sharing God’s love in everything I do.

Father God, thank you for showing me from Revelation what will happen in the end times. Through your Word You have shown what is soon to take place. Teach me to number my days, that I may order my days according to your will. Lord Jesus come fill me with your wisdom and your Spirit so that I may lead people into relationship with You.
